Schools Industry Partnership

The Schools Industry Partnership is a non-profit that aims to ensure that all young people have a sucessful transition from School to work or further education and training.
We work with high schools, TAFE colleges, youth organisations, universities, primary schools, businesses, associations, parents and the general community across the Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury and Penrith regions to create the links to form multi engaging and successful partnerships.

Businesses can support our work by hosting one week student work placements, becoming mentors, sponsors of projects, being a guest speaker, or helping with Mock Interviews. Businesses are also able to link in with educational programs such as Literacy and Numeracy coaching, providing site tours of industry and by participating as industry experts on Vocational education advisory committees. We run a range of special events through out the year including the Penrith Valley Apprenticeship Expo, the Engineering Challenge, Healthwise Expos, Try a Trade events just to name a few
