can have a relaxing picnic beside the river, fish or take a trip on the paddle
steamer down the Nepean Gorge.

Historically Penrith has been a stop over for travellers
going west over the Blue Mountains, today Penrith is part of a collection of
towns that make up the beautiful Hawkesbury-Nepean area, but remnants of that
time lies throughout the region. Penrith Lakes B&B provides easy access to
all these areas. 15 Kms away is the historic town of Windsor, which has a vast
array of antique shops and quaint coffee houses, while the townships of
Wallacia, Mulgoa and Warragamba are wonderful places to spend a lazy Sunday
afternoon strolling through.

The Blue Mountains
National Park is one of the wonders of the natural world and only fifteen
minutes away from Penrith Lakes B&B. It is home to the Three Sisters,
waterfalls, and a vast array of flora and fauna. For the more adventurous, you
can either abseil or rockclimb one of the many rock faces within the park.You
can enjoy the spills and thrills of white water rafting,
just like the Olympians, at Penrith
Whitewater Stadium.

bedrooms, each with its own television, electric blanket and individual entrance
doors which open on to the front verandah, where you can sit and watch the wild
ducks and many other native birds that are abundant in the area. The bathroom is
modern and has an enormous spa bath. The guest lounge room has tea and coffee
making facilities and a television. |
