AGNES BANKS
Agnes Banks was settled around 1804. The area consisted of natural woodlands and farmland, but has been developing rapidly. It is in between Richmond and Penrith.
BERKSHIRE PARK
Berkshire Park has a small population. Some of the characteristics are its rural lifestyle and rustic atmosphere.
BLUE MOUNTAINS

CAMBRIDGE GARDENS
Cambridge Gardens is bordered by Werrington Downs and is a residential suburb to the north of Cambridge Park.
CASTLEREAGH
Castlereagh was founded by Governor Lachlan Macquarie in 1810. Scattered amongst the large acreages there are many farmhouses and churches and cemeteries which represent the history of the area.
CLAREMONT MEADOWS
Claremont Meadows is a fairly recently developed estate. It is centrally located and is small and quiet.
COLYTON
Colyton is quite close to St Marys. It has its own shopping centre and schools. It is within close access to the M4 Motorway and the Great Western Highway.
EMU HEIGHTS
Emu Heights is at the foot of the Blue Mountains. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the city and is surrounded by natural beauty.
EMU PLAINS
Emu Plains is a very historic suburb and one of the oldest districts around Penrith. It has many historic buildings and is a quiet and peaceful area. Emu Plains sits on the western side of the Nepean River.
ERSKINE PARK
Erskine Park has both a rural and industrial history. There was a new housing development during the 1990's.
GLENMORE PARK
Glenmore Park is a housing estate close in proximity to the M4 Motorway and Penrith CBD. It contains modern facilities and is growing quite rapidly.
JAMISONTOWN
Jamisontown is both residential and industrial. It is quite a busy suburb in the Penrith region also with a number of retail outlets.
JORDAN SPRINGS
Jordan Springs is one of Penrith's newest suburbs. Built on the old St Marys defence site the suburb sprang into being around 2011.
KINGSWOOD
Kingswood is quite an old suburb within Penrith. It has a university, TAFE, schools and a hospital.
LEONAY
Leonay is a residential suburb at the foot of the Blue Mountains by the Nepean River. Leonay has a golf course which features prominently through the suburb.
LLANDILO
Llandilo consists of many small farms, some of which are cattle and other of which are horse studs.
MULGOA
Mulgoa is believed to take its name from the Mulgoa people who were the indigenous inhabitants of the area. The name is believed to mean black swan in the Dharug language. The areas is still primarily rural and contains notable historic buildings – Fernhill completed in the 1840’s and now heritage listed, as well as Regentville House and St Thomas Anglican Church. Mulgoa give you access to one of the best views in Penrith at the Rock Lookout. If you follow Fairlight Road Mulgoa to the end, it's a short walk from the carpark to the Rock Lookout with views of the Nepean River and the Blue Mountains. The lookout is a natural, unfenced area with a steep cliff, so caution is advised.
MULGOA RISE
Mulgoa Rise is Penrith's newest surburb and is an extension of Glenmore Park.
NORTH ST MARYS
North St Marys is a residential suburb near an established industrial site in the north east of Penrith. It is bordered by Ropes Creek corridor.
ORCHARD HILLS
Orchard Hills contains many orchards and grapevines as well as a large mob of kangaroos. It is a rural area in the centre of the Penrith region.
OXLEY PARK
Oxley Park is a residential suburb around St Marys. It contains a school and sporting fields, and has easy access to major roads such as the Great Western Highway and M4 Motorway.
PENRITH
Penrith City is the CBD which also services the lower Blue Mountains. It is located on the east of the Nepean River. It contains a major shopping centre and the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre.
REGENTVILLE
Regentville is a small rural village which had its beginnings as the site for a tweed mill and grape growing. It is secluded from the hustle of the CBD.
ST CLAIR
St Clair is a residential area. It was originally rural until a housing estate was built in the 1980's. It has easy access to the M4 Motorway.
ST MARYS
St Marys is a major residential and commercial area in the Penrith region. It has its history in agriculture and industry.
