Date Night at The Gallery
Penrith Regional Gallery becomes an enchanted place after dark. Think music, art, food, drink, people, stories and surprises. Taking place on Friday evening, October 26, come along to this specially curated event with activities including life drawing, dancers, music and a spot to share secret love notes.
Date Night is an inclusive event with a youth focus, highlighting the welcoming, fun, recreational and cultural nature of the site as part of the social landscape of the community. Galleries and museums are fabulous places to ignite romance, and a safe space for people of all different orientations to participate and experience something unique - the perfect spot to bring a date, friend or family member.
Featuring: Justene Williams: The Curtain Breathed Deeply on exhibition in the Main Gallery, a pop-up performance by young dancers donning spectacular costumes by Williams; a love notes wall; draped life drawing; music and a decorated Instagram wall to share your experience. Café at Lewers in the Gallery’s beautiful heritage garden will be open with a special menu for purchase.
Date Night, celebrates all things love. So message your friends, and come down and experience the revelry in what will be a fresh and fun social night out.
