Stuart Ayres MP, Member for Penrith joined Chel Ellery of the Queen of Hearts Community Foundation (QOH) to announce a grant of $16,994 through the NSW Government’s 2017 Community Building Partnership (CBP) program.

Stuart Ayres said this funding for QOH will be used to create additional counselling spaces and to upgrade existing meeting rooms.

“Chel and her team of counsellors and case managers do an incredible job supporting all women, children and men who are victims of domestic violence as they progress through their journey of justice and healing,” said Stuart Ayres.

Ms Ellery said this is terrific news that will allow us to support more people every week with counselling and therapy.

“Funding through the CBP Program aims to create more vibrant and inclusive communities and deliver positive social, environmental and recreational outcomes,” added Stuart Ayres.
