Welcome to the 70's - First Show of the 2019 Morning Melodies Series at The Joan

First up in January we take a trip back in time and into the decade that brought us flower power and flares in Welcome to the 70s, at The Joan.

Stephen Fisher King, Jo Elms, Bob Howe and the Greg Hooper Trio will be performing hits from The Eagles, Billy Joel, John Denver, Fleetwood Mac, The Carpenters, and many more in Welcome to the 70s. The show will also feature an awesome multi-media presentation of the fun, fashion and food of the decade, taking you back to when cats were in the cradle, the good ol' boys were drinking whiskey and rye, and country roads took you home

Welcome to the 70s will be the first show in the 2019 Morning Melodies Series, returning with even more show-stopping hits and vocals sure to keep audiences clapping, cheering and entertained on the edge of their seats.

Morning from 10am - Performance 11am

Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre, 597 High Street Penrith

Tickets:

  • All tickets are $20 and include a delicious morning tea served from 10am
  • Performance begins at 11am and concludes around 12.30pm.
  • All seats are allocated.
